He's thinking Hmmm...I wonder if I can eat this all in one go?
Ray: Beetles are only capable of thinking about two things, Chris...eating and shagging...that is pretty much the same as with Australian Male Sapiens, except that they have replaced eating with drinking beer.
You are being a bit too technical here Ray
Ray: Yes...sorry about that. Bill, but there didn't seem to be a simple, non-technical way of describing what you see...

Yes, I thought it was, too; I'm getting good at recognising Thai creatures and playthings.
Ray: I think my 11 years of daily photoblogging might be starting to get results, smarter SC buddies seem well on the way to achieving a PHD in the area of SE Asia Natural History.
Niiice... I especially like the golden feathery looking spots on his back.
Ray: It is a quite attractive visitor, Jacquelyn.

Très jolie macro !
Ray: Merci, Martine.
I see you have mentioned it was a beetle. I thought it was a moth with it's furry looking bottom.
Ray: Ooooops! My Bad!

I mean't to call it a moth, even though it has un-moth-like antennae, Mary.

Thank you for calling me out on that.
this bug is unlike anything i have seen, Ray - but then again i do not claim to be an expert on them. a fascinating shot. i like the red dot too.
