Chez nous aussi, beaucoup de choses viennent de Chine, dommage !
Ray: Certains produits chinois sont bons, Martine, mais beaucoup sont ruppish!

Not much room for more Chinese goods, Ray

A place full of atmosphere I'll wager..
Ray: Lots of atmosphere, a few useful-looking tools, and a lot of junk, Chris.
It would be a flea market dream for some of us, Ray. smile
Ray: I like to visit, and browse the tool stalls, but rarely buy stuff, Ginnie.

Clever of them to ha g sheets of newspaper overhead to keep out the sun Ray.
Ray: At this time of year they are mainly trying to manage the daily rains, Chad.
The whole world is awash with Chinese goods
Ray: I believe your claim is accurate, Bill.
Underwhelming to some and overwhelming to others. Do I recognize Koen?
Ray: Close...that is friend Tim in the second image.
I wouldn't dare let Maureen loose in there!
Ray: There is some good/unusual stuff in this market, Brian, so purses can be easily lightened.

Reminds me a lot of Palestinian markets in Israel/Palestine. I just couldn't understand how you can make a living by selling only suitcases (example) in your stall. Selling foodstuffs always seemed way more popular.
Ray: I suppose there is less spoilage from hardware than food, Lois, and this is a big factor in the profit.
they have about everything that can be carried in your hands in this market Ray....petersmile
Ray: I feel your description is accurate, Peter.
Cheap deals galore, I imagine!
Ray: The tools are well-priced, Tom.
