He's not that well camoed if you spotted him!
Ray: I have rather keen eyes for these critters, Larry...lots of practice... smile
These are always so charming! I like it when you show these!
Ray: I rather like the hoppers, Elizabeth, and can usually find several species in the garden.

'Shower in the backyard'...
Amazing how the colours match, I think he has an eye on you, don't you love that eye? Great picture.
Ray: Seems to be watching me, but not acting alarmed about it, Astrid.
Skin moisturizing is so important these days, Ray! grin How fun.
Ray: Na is always suggesting I should be using some kind of skin moisturiser...the climate certainly makes my skin dry.

This is a gorgeous image Ray, a real study in green upon which to feast the eye..
Ray: I rather liked it, too, Chris...green in green, as you say.

I guess the cool rain was welcome to him. His eyes and carapace look good as well as practical
Ray: This species does seem to be successful, Lisl, so I suppose their design is well proven by now.

Well spotted; it does its best to blend it with the plants. I like the posture drops across the shoulders.
Ray: Many animals prey of hoppers, Alan, so the camouflage had better work!

Tu fais vraiment de belles macros, bravo !
Ray: Merci pour votre remarque encourageante, Martine. J'aime faire des macros.
He is a handsome little fella Ray
Ray: Even looks like he is smiling, Bill.
I wonder where he was taking them Ray.
Ray: I think he is just taking a bath, Chad.

That one drop sits there like a big fat tear. Maybe it is worried for having been discovered and some eastern gastronomic ideas.
Ray: Certainly many hoppers end up deep fried and served as snackfood in Thailand, Louis.
One hop away from covering your lens with water. Very nice one, Ray.
Ray: I was pleased to catch him so covered in raindrops, Mary.
He certainly is well camouflaged.
Ray: Fits in beautifully, Brian.
