Her antennae are longer than her body, Ray - any idea why?
Ray: I think Buddy Bill has hit on the answer, Lisl.

Very handy for feeling your way forward Ray.
Ray: Gawd fitted me with short ones, Chad, which might be a factor in the bruised forehead I seem to suffer frequently.

Perhaps its short sighted and so the looooooong antennae are used as feelers? Judging by the filaments on the leaf, this chap must be so tiny.
Ray: He's a quite petite chap, Alan.

So...you think our Bill was a bit astray with his explanation for the long antennae?
A real athlete by the look of him
Ray: Hoppers are impressively muscular critters, Martin...they remind me of Popeye.
It looks ready to spring. Very good capture.
Ray: I suspect it is near the point of deciding I might represent Clear&Present Danger, Mary.
Isn't it strange how insects limbs bend the opposite way to ors.
Ray: Ha Ha

I like your observation, Brian.
