A short visit to Laos #12

End of the short visit to Southern Laos...we are seen off by the WatchCock from his palatial watchtower in the tree overlooking the nearly finished resort on the riverbank.

This has been another excellent short trip with good travel companions. I hope you enjoyed the journey...

I am sorry that it is over so soon Ray. Still, at least it has been well documented.
Ray: A was a short interlude, Chad, so I don't want to labour the subject excessively. Laos is a nice place.
i like his plumage and his upright posture too, Ray.
Ray: He was quite alert, and doing his job well, Ayush.

Yes, it was a real adventure - and I enjoyed your diary and your images! WatchCock is a nice name! Kikeriki!
Ray: I believe the rooster was keeping his eye on the unfinished resort, Philine, and seemed quite alert and knowing.
It was very entertaining and it is a great credit to you that you could consume all that beer and still take good snaps
Ray: I made a lot of the snaps with the smartphone this trip, Bill...the phone provides the smarts so I can just get on with the important stuff...
I did not know the trip was so long ago. I enjoyed it very much.
Ray: It was about 1 year ago, Mary, and we have done a couple of other short trips since then.

I will show another trip in a few weeks...perhaps North India or Nepal.
And a good time was had by all it seems.
Ray: Yes...all good, Brian! We get on well, and all have thick skins.
A very handsome bird - jungle fowl?

Are the guest bedrooms made from cardboard, too? Thee is something a blokes' tour isn't there?
