Whoua, magnifique !
Ray: Merci, Martine!
without a doubt one of your very best, Ray. i like how it has a good grip, it would take a really strong breeze to dislodge this tiger.
Ray: It is a magnificent beast, Ayush, but not a common visitor to our garden. It is a very strong flyer, and is completely unfussed about strong breezes.

A very professional looking snap Ray.
Ray: I shall treat that as a compliment, Chad!

I guess the yellow & black stripes area bluff to suggest he is as dangerous as a flying tiger
Ray: To a spider, Chris...he is as dangerous as a flying tiger!

As a matter of interest, I googled this and found an Asian Tiger Mosquito as well! Your picture is beyond words
Ray: The Tiger Mosquitoes are big, and have stripes, but are not nearly as colourful nor as big as this critter, Lisl.
What a magnificent beast!
Ray: Yes...She's a beauty, in the Amazon sense, Bill!

a gorgeous dragonfly with a very fitting name!
Ray: A most welcome visitor to our garden, Philine...I think she came to find Spiders to eat.
Dressed in cautionary colours, he is really something!
Ray: I love to see them patrolling the ponds, Mary, but was delighted to find this one right outside our bedroom window.
What a fine critter!
Ray: She is a warrior, Brian.
A biggie! Lovely shot, Ray.
Ray: Thank you, Tom. She is enormous!

Don't tell me; it is around 2m long and has a wing span of 1m and eats humans.
Ray: Ha Ha

[She especially loves catching cyclists, but stays clear if they are covered in form-hugging lycra, Alan]
This must be a spectacular thing to see!! Terrific photo, Ray!
Ray: Another beautiful visitor to our garden, Elizabeth...not a frequent visitor, though.
