you captured the wing patterns very well, Ray. has she lost one antenna?
Ray: The lost antenna is tucked away in the top pic, Ayush, but is visible in the second pic.
Lovely one to capture in pix.
Ray: She is a pretty flutterby, Jacquelyn.
Upside down or rightside up, I have a feeling she quite enjoys strutting her stuff, Ray. smile
Ray: She is a common visitor, Ginnie, and always brightens up the garden.

Being upside down must have some benefit for this procedure Ray.
Ray: I have a feeling it makes the nectar pump function more efficiently, Chad.

What's wrong with hanging around upside down after a good meal? I mean, it takes all sorts..
Ray: Nothing wrong with that, Chris...but, she does it during the meal.

Such beautiful colours and patterns. Perhaps its updated down so if anything edible drops off the flower then it is there to catch it.
Ray: I get the sense that her nectar pump is more efficient when deployed thusly, Alan.

Gobsmacked!
Ray: She is a lovely visitor, Philine.
What a beauty! We seem to have destroyed most of our butterflies.
Ray: Fortunately, Bill, there seems to still be many butterflies in Thailand.
Wow - that is a beauty, Ray.
Ray: Common, and lovely, Tom.
My, the markings on her are exquisite. You had quite an opportunity there.
Ray: She is a daily visitor, Mary, and seems to favour this shrub right outside our window.
Got to be one of most beautiful butterflies about.
Ray: Very common one, too, Brian.

It seems that your window of opportunity, never closes. Great macro shots.
Ray: There is a lot happening just out there, Louis.
That is a beauty Ray, nicely caught.
Ray: Thank you, Frank. She is as you describe.
