Ray: A very pretty young Lady...but, she looks so sad! sad

These are some great pictures and what a wonderful portrait of the young lady. I notice that most of the people have the sun-block.
Ray: The powder on the face is a Myanmar exclusive, Astrid.

A startling young Lady, Astrid, and I was struck by how sad she looked.
Don't wonder what they're ALL thinking, Ray...but, yes, especially her.
Ray: All look a little sad or, perhaps, vacant, Ginnie, but this young Lady looks really sad!

Maybe she is wondering if there is more to life than this..
Ray: Maybe she is hoping there is more to Life than this, Chris.

She is hoping that she looks as good as she thinks - which she does, of course
Ray: I wondered if they were her bags nearby, and if she was leaving the family home, Lisl.

a wonderful portrait - they all look a bit thoughtful or sad.
Ray: 2014...Myanmar is just waking up from a 60 years period of mass oppression, Philine...I expect these people have net yet relaxed.
An excellent candid portrait Ray, we will never know what was on her mind at that moment, but she is certainly a beautiful young lady.
Ray: Thank you, Brian. This young Lady certainly attracted my lens.

She's probably wondering if the train will ever come; rather line a commuter on some of Britain's wonderful lines.
Ray: Yes...worst case is she has to wait 20 minutes...perhaps that is too long ...

She could also be wondering if the chap approaching from her left has forgotten his trousers as he appears to have a bed sheet wrapped around his waist.
Ray: Many of the men dress in a sarong in Myanmar, Alan. It used to be this way in Thailand also, but now they have mostly moved to Western clothes.
She looks rather sad.
Ray: I felt like jumping off the train and offering her a hug, Tom...that might not have helped, of course.

All the people in the picture seem to be in that state of the long stare. But I agree, she is the most beautiful of the lot.
Ray: I would be reading an eBook, I suppose, but these folks don't have access to such things.
