Farm Spider

These spiders are extremely common. They make a web in the grass. The web catches large quantities of moisture from dew or rain, and this doesn't seem to bother the Spider at all.

Joli travail au milieu des gouttes d'eau.
Ray: Oui ... Je ne peux m'empêcher de penser que la toile est prête à prendre délibérément de l'humidité, Martine.
Terrific photo with those water droplets!
Ray: Thank you, Elizabeth. The water does seem to add something to the image.

It shows shows how real I ugly small the spider is. The rain drop likes like the equivalent of a bath.
Ray: Ha Ha

In the World of Small the dewdrop is like a filled bathtub...I like that, Alan!

We have similar critters here in the UK too Ray. Flies beware!
Ray: I have a feeling this is a very common Spider, Chris...and, clearly successful!

This took my breath away in more ways than one, Ray
Ray: Spiders are wonderful subjects, aren't they, Lisl.
Bravo , rien n'echappe à  ton regard de photographe !
Bonne journée
Ray: J'aime explorer les champs de riz pour des drames inhabituels en jeu, Claudine.

A fascinating image with all the dew or raindrops!
Ray: Thank you, Philine. It seems like the web is designed to catch moisture...perhaps like baiting a trap!
It's the time of year for us and our spiders in the garden.
Ray: Get out there and grab a few candids, Brian! smile
It obviously likes a drink with its meals smile
Ray: That is ok with me so long as it doesn't start eyeing my beer, Tom.
they have plenty to drink...
Ray: I wonder if the water is used to trap small insects, Larry.

Quite amazing to capture all that magnificent detail.
Ray: These spiders fascinate me, Beth.
We have the same spiders, Ray. I have shown them over the years when I catch one in a good light.
Ray: I think these spiders might live in most places...evidently a successful species, Mary.
