And then we come out at the base of Hollow Mountain. Ben is delighted by our reaction to this totally unexpected descent route!

Oh, what a great walk - and what gorgeous rocks. You don't have to travel to the American Canyons!
Ray: It is a wonderful, colourful place, Philine.
Cs rochers sont vrament magnifiques !
Quel bel endroit
Merci
Ray: C'est un endroit d'une beauté extraordinaire, Claudine ... L'Australie a beaucoup de ces endroits!

I can just imagine how much Ben enjoyed sharing this with you all. What a place to take you!
Ray: Ben knew I would find it to be a knockout, Lisl, but was probably a bit concerned that Na might not be impressed...although he talked her about 20 metres up a vertical cliff [with harness and rope] the previous day.

Love the colours in this. I'm relieved that you've all made it in one piece without mishap.
Ray: Smooth as a walk in the park, Alan.

Magnificent isn’t it Ray. The colours are great.
Ray: It is superb, Chad...a feast for the eye [and lens]!
Having a good guide was essential
Ray: The Way is completely unmarked, so I doubt many people are aware of it, Bill.
The sort of place where one looks back and wonders if you've actually just done that. I bet Mawin enjoyed this.
Ray: It was a memorable walk, Brian...enjoyed by all!
I too would be enthralled to find rocks like this. Good on Ben!
Ray: It is a wonderful place, Mary.
Great, I love places like this, what colours!
Ray: Thank you, Frank.
Quite an achievement to get down and emerge unscathed
Ray: Surprisingly, Martin, it was not so difficult as I thought it might be.

Ray: There is a lot of iron ore in Australia, Peter, even though vast amounts are being shipped to China.
