Five Minutes #5

November 20th...I am feeling a bit battered after my 212km  bicycle ride two days previously, and recovering from the physical trauma of being knocked off my bicycle by an imcompetent motorcyclist...I have some spare time at 0630 as I am not cycling...

I sit in the garden, near a patch of weeds, with a macro lens on my camera...here is a sample of what I find...

Tiny exquisite flowers...a milkweed...

And, grass-flowers:

the fuchsia on green is very soothing to my eyes, Ray. i hope you are feeling better.
Ray: Nature has a way with colours, Ayush.
Gorgeous macros Ray!
Ray: I am delighted that you like them, Elizabeth.
Jolie composition, j'aime beaucoup la première photo.
Ray: Merci, Martine.
What a great time and place to pull out the macro lens, Ray, to get your mind off the unfortunate event. Every time I see one of your macros, I get inspired to get my bi-irl camera out with macro lens...!
Ray: I enjoyed trying to find enough interesting stuff in 1 square metre of weeds in front of where I was sitting, Ginnie.

Macro fun in the flower bed then..
Ray: Much macro fun, Chris.
Quelle chance de pouvoir profiter de ton jardin avec tout ce que tu nous proposes avec ces macros
Bonne journée Ray
Ray: Notre jardin a réussi, comme on l'espérait, à nous apporter toutes sortes de belles choses, Claudine.
A series I could view a long time...
Ray: That is very kind of you, Larry.

Both are great pictures. The top one does remind of the pom-pom weeds that are alien to SA.
Ray: It is a very common weed in Thailand, Louis, and I am delighted to say there is plenty of it growing in our garden.

Just waiting for an insect to land.
Ray: They won't have long to wait, Chad.
Its all there when you get in close, this cycling lark sounds a bit dangerous in you neck of the woods.
Ray: These tiny flowers are not noteworthy until you get in close, Martin.

Anything about Thailand roads is a bit dangerous, unfortunately.
Hope the bumps and bruises are settling down, Ray - I'm sure this is great therapy!
Ray: It is good to have multiple passions, Tom.

I am back on the bike again, as the pain from the busted shoulder is tolerable and I don't want the bikes going rusty. smile
The bright colours cheer up the grey day here.
Ray: These tiny milkweeds have that impact on me, too, Mary.
