Joli, on dirait une grosse pastèque.
Ray: Ha Ha. J'aime cette description, Martine.
Belle prise de vue , merci
Bonne journée
Ray: Une journée claire et la lune paraissait très vive même à l'œil maquillé, Claudine.

a great image!
Ray: The moon continues to fascinate me, Philine, even after 70 years of it being in my life.

So near yet so far. A fine image.I wonder if man will ever go back?
Ray: Man will go back, and will eventually build a permanent Outpost there...although probably not in my lifetime, Alan.

Handheld shot...tested my ability to handle a heavy camera/lens.
Great shot. That's some lens you have. I love Tycho and I believe that is Mare Orientale at the bottom.
Ray: Thank you, Larry.

100-400mm lens with 1.6 magnifier...a heavy set-up which tested my handheld capability.

The moon is a characterful orb.

Gone into astronomy now have you..

IS THERE NO END TO YOUR TALENTS?
Ray: Ha Ha

The moon is a lovely thing, Chris.
A fine moon pic Ray
Ray: Thank you, Bill.

Morning World
Ray: It is easier to take a picture like this of the moon in the morning than at night, Chad...for me, at least!
Just can't make out the footprints ( (assuming that the landing wasn't just more fake news)
Ray: Like you, Martin, I am still searching for footprints or flags...no success yet! smile
Well done Ray, a great image especially if it was hand held with lots of magnification.
Ray: Thank you, Brian...it was as you say. I could probably improve the focus slightly with a tripod, but almost never bother to drag it out of my wardrobe.
