Vegetable Garden Beauties, #3

Here is one of the pungent varieties of Thai Basil in the garden...the flowers and foliage are both edible, and the herb is particularly delicious in a kind of stir-fry known as Krapow.

It doesn't need the egg. Also, you can substitute chicken with pork and get a good outcome...the basil is the key ingredient, but might not be available in England.
You'll have to give us the recipe, Ray smile

It must be quite a dish, to name it Ka-pow smile The plant has a beautiful flower.
Ray: Krapow is extremely tasty, Louis...not for conservative diners!
Nice shot again Ray. I often wonder who first eat things liek the flowers to find out whether they were poisonous or not.
Ray: That is a good question, Brian.

What I am finding in Thailand is that most parts of most plants are edible.
