This is the end of the series Fennel Life. I have numerous additional images, featuring different animals relating to the Fennel plant, but will save them for another time.

I remember the first time I learned about fennel, Ray (from my daughter a couple of years back, who had made a wonderful recipe from it), and couldn't believe I had never known about it previously. I LOVE the flavor of anise and really should start finding recipes for it because it's plentiful here in the Netherlands. Thanks for the reminders throughout this fabulous series.
Ray: Fennel is wonderful stuff to have in the garden, Ginnie.

Ray: It might be the most popular plant in our garden, Chris.

You've made a series of photos from something I would not seen any potential. The detail in this is excellent.
Ray: You and I seem to focus often at opposite extremes, Alan.
I never thought a series of pics of fennel and friends could be so enjoyable Ray
Ray: The World of Small fascinates me, Bill.

Quite a structure Ray.
Ray: A lovely feat of engineering, Chad.

Ray: I enjoyed preparing this series, Mary.
And the ladybird thinks so too!

My account is still problematical - can't reply to comments or upload new pics.

That top one is great shot - fennel is the star of the series. With what seems like aphids to draw other beasties to your studio.
Ray: Yes...mostly about fennel, Louis.
