Crikey! It must have been a sudden geological event which caused this.
Ray: I expect it was caused by a high concentration of calciem in the soil being released by a clood, or something similar, Alan.

That is stunning Ray, I wish I had been here.

I've never come across anything like this before. {Far be it for me to tell you what to look at but you might just find my Friday posting somewhat amusing, I'm saying no more!]
Ray: This place is unique in my experience, Brian.
That's totally weird - they look like the result of volcanic activity!
Ray: Your explanation might be accurate, Tom...close by is a site where you can see that volcanic lava has spilled into the ocean.
