Jolie cathédrale, j'aime la forme des tours.
Ray: Oui, toutes les tours étaient assez élégantes.
I love the illumination at the end - it's really beautiful!
Ray: That light was flooding in through large windows, Elizabeth, and I was immediately drawn to that end of the building...life a moth.

Quite a significant structure for the place. Replacing something else?
Ray: I believe the building was 70 years or so in the constriction, Chris, so was probably built on an old gold mine palings.
Magnifique ...on doit se sentir petit avec une telle hauteur sous voute !
Merci
Ray: Le bâtiment est attrayant et énorme, mais je ne me suis pas senti diminué par celui-ci.

What an impressive building, for some reason I hadn't expected to see anything like this in Australia.
Ray: There are quite a few impressive churches in Australia, Brian...this is one of the bipest and newest on them, and is only recently completed.

I wonder that a new cathedral has been built in neo-gothic style and not in a more modern style.
Ray: I believe the project commenced about 100 years ago, Philine, and at that time this might have been considered best practice for Australian buildings.
I love the light inside.
Ray: The matural light in there was wonderful, Mary.
I like the new / old style
Ray: I am also pleased it is a traditional design, Martin.
