photoblog image Fond Farewell

Fond Farewell

Zuri and Nyah were two of my special Coaches as I struggled to re-learn the fundamentals of Reading and Writing...they spent hours drilling me on the sounds attributed to characters  and character combinations.

Back in Thailand now, I miss their company and their rigorous drilling.

Pictures by Jacob.

How wonderful that helped you during this difficult time. did they let you borrow their bike stabilisers, too? So glad that they efforts have proved so successful. Did you get professional therapy, too?
Ray: Many Professionals signed off to assist, Bill, and The Melbourne University is conducting remote sessions [read Internet based] twice a week for 7 weeks more.

A lovely picture Ray. They certainly did a good job, you seem to be back to how you used to be. But boy did you have us worried..
Ray: Recovery has a long way to go yet, Chris, but there is evidence of daily progress.

Things were had, and looking worse for a while, but now all is traveling in the right direction.

They are wonderful grandchildren, I understand that you miss them now, perhaps they could visit you in Thailand one day - very nice images! Your orthography is excellent!
Ray: You are very kind, Philine...in truth, writing is improving well, but still has some way to go. Reading is still lagging, but there is slow improvement.

I am hoping Jacob and his family will visit me in Thailand latter in the year.
Great pictures Ray. Hopefully you will see them again before too long

Nice picture Ray. I hope your rithmatick skills are unimpaired.
Ray: Numeracy skills are badly knocked about, Chad...basic tables and maths rules are needing a lot of repair, which I have just begun.
Two wonderful pictures Ray, they will always remember when they helped Granddad get better from his accident.
Ray: I had a wonderful time with Zuri and Nyah, Brian...and, they were truly helpful.
Time spent with grandchildren is so precious and for you even moreso in this situation. Not long ago you were teaching children of this age in the Thai school.
Ray: You are entirely correct abut this, Mary.

I hope to get teaching at the school next month.
With all the attention they gave you, Ray, it is evident they love their student granddad. Your progress is remarkable.
Ray: Zuri and Nyah have me a lot of attention, Beverly, and I have no doubt their attention contributed significantly to my rate of recovery.
Glad they kept you on your toes, Ray!
Ray: Plenty of action around Zuri and Nyah, Tom.
two beautiful children Ray... you are a lucky man....petersmile
Ray: Rehab was a lot of fun when driven by these experts, Peter.
