Awake not yet from thy repose...
...there is nothing to fear in the park when you are watched over by a brigade of Guardian Yellow-Duck pedal boats.

I've never seen little pedal boats like that! They are cute. What vibrant color! And they reflect so nicely in the water. Interesting shot.
Ray: Thanks for your kind remark, Laura.
I'd love one of those paddle ducks. The figure sleeping? in the dark foreground adds much interest.
Ray: They give you a good work-out but are frustrating cos they are very slow.
I would wager that they are the source of many a nightmare. The person in this shot seems to be immune, though.
Ray: Hmmmm! "Big yellow duck nightmare"...perhaps Freud or Jung had a theory on that?
This could be a park anywhere. People sleeping everywhere and ducks allover
Ray: [grin]
Very nice capture Ray. Nobody in the train, a sleeping person on the grass, it must be very hot!
Ray: Hi Richard. It is winter in Bangkok, which means mid-day temperatures are down to around 34DegC.
With all the mini monsters you have shown us I dont think I woul dbe lying down on the grass
Ray: Pucker all your orifices, and then it is fairly safe.
Ray, they sure are on the look-out, love the refelctions in the water, I hope the ducks will not wake up the guy sleeping.
Love the colors, have a nice weekend.
Ray: Thank you, Astrid. I am pleased you like it.
You quack me up. Love the photograph coupled with your quick sense of humor and appreciation of irony.
Ray: Thanks, Kathryn. I wish I could find a copy of the song that inspired the picture and its title.
Honest opinion Ray? I think you got your focus point and composition wrong on this one - I think you would have been better off (bearing in mind your title), by shifting the focus to the guy sleeping and using a slightly narrower DOF. All of course is just my humble opinion
Ray: Thanks, Neil. I really value "honest opinion".
Actually I have a second shot, which is exactly what you have suggested. I like this one better, though, as it is the ducks that I am interested in.
What a funny way to float on the water ...
Ray: Very popular with young kids...who then drag Mum/Dad along.
freaky ducks Ray, I'm not sure that I could sleep under thier gaze. lol. mal
Ray: Gut full of beer on a hot afternoon, and the sleep comes easy, mal...even if there are monter ducks nearby.
Love it! The ducks on the right got fed up and went to "find itself". hehe
Ray: Yeh...there is a limit to their attention span! [grin]
Funny shot and comment my friend
one easily need a sleep when it is too hot, there's an example...
do I mistake or is it in the park of Roi-Et ? Nice and protecting picture ;-)
Ray: Thank you for your comment.
Not Roi-Et, but it is Thailand. |
