Lily on the balcony...

Ever the optimists, a few weeks back, we bought a handful of bulbs at a weekend market. Returning home we placed them all in a large plant pot on our sunny balcony.

Now there are 21 large flowers, standing proud on 50cm stems...a better outcome than the same deal last year, which gave many leaves but no blooms!

It's like a miracle when this happens, Ray, especially when YOU capture it like this.
Ray: Thanks Ginnie.
I took several frustrating shots with the dSLR, then pulled out my trusty S3is and got this at first try. [grin]

That's because you said the magic word this time you plant the bulbs, Ray. And here is your reward.
