Parsley

Thai parsley, in the vegetable garden, has flowered.

It is a precarious existence for the parsley...rooted to a small garden plot beside the cow-shed, it is subjected to regular pruning by its humans, physical abusing by foraging chickens. and opportunistic dis-membering by cows that are anxious for a mouthful of anything green after their night in the shed.

That's pretty Ray, and against such a lovely green background too
Ray: Frustrated by a lack of insects, I started banging away at any old flowers in the garden...this picture was a very pleasant surprise when I looked at it on the computer.
Thank you for your comment, Ellie.

beautiful
Ray: Humble vegetable as object of desire! Whatever next! [grin]
Like the way the flowers are totally isolated from the background, the flowers on the bottom right seem to jump out at you.
Ray: Got a nice backdrop, which really seems to add to this image.

wonderful flowers, so white, topped with a tender rosé- an eruption of spring- "against a lovely green background" (Ellie is right). My dictionary 'parsley' translates: 'Petersilie" (never I saw such a flower of 'Petersilie, belonging to the kitchenherbs).
Ray: Thank you for your comment, Philine.
I am uncertain if Thai parsley is related to English parsley.
Prettiest parsley flowers I've ever seen.
Ray: I am uncertain if Thai parsley is related to English [Canadian] parsley. The flowers are certainly purty.
Super composition Ray. I love the suble colours!
Ray: Thanks, Richard. It did turn out better than I had hoped for.

Some of the petals look like glass, it's so crips and clear. What a truly fantastic shot Ray.
