Looking good funny how like this it's very colourful and live all we would do is swat it
Ray: I see beauty in all kinds of unlikely things now, Vintage, thanks to my recent passion for close-up photography.

Terrific, Ray!! And yes I have the same question as Ti!
Ray: Hi Kavita.
I think they are probably colourful everywhere, and close-up photography helps to reveal their beauty.

This is fabulous, so much colour, so much detail, I first look now before I swat it...smile
Ray: Ha Ha.
But, you need to be kind to flies when they are this big, Astrid.
A colourful bug from the bugman of Shutterchance
Ray: Thanks, Bill.
This beauty is hard to find unless it is in a sunny spot...it is about 7mm wingtip2wingtip.
What an incredible image, Ray. I just don`t know how you do it. (:o)
Ray: Thanks, Rosalyn.
I have worked long and hard at my technique; I guard it carefully, but will share it just with you; it goes like this:
1. Find a bug
2. Point the camera at it
3. Press the shutter button
[patent pending]

Please don't pass on this information without my permission. [grin]

Gosh! Looks at those skinny, hairy, legs! Amazing
Ray: I like this tiny bug, Ellie.
It makes me think of a fairground stilt-walker.
Impressive shot !
