Gotcha

Little Green Bee-Eater returning to its perch over the pond after a successful short flight to take an airborne snack.

I won't be showing any more of this set on SC, but there is a gallery of my images from an hour or so of pleasant observation of these beautiful and acrobatic birds if you would like to simulate my experience.

Superb timing Ray, right on the point of contact, wings and tail feathers working over time
Ray: Gives some idea about how birds [and planes] brake before landing.
Thanks, Zed.
I like the action on this one, but I prefer the one below it in your gallerywink
Ray: I like that one, too.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the gallery, Nigel.

Charming Ray
Ray: That's an interesting epithet, Chris...thank you.
... nice sharp twig Mr Ray ;-)

richard
Ray: Thanks, Richard.

Twigs are easy peasy, 'cos they don't move as much as Bee-Eaters.
