The early signs of harmony

After two days of stand-off, Tiger and our newly adopted Alley-cat are beginning to thaw...here they are showing the classic signs by getting closer to each other whilst over-acting the pretence of unawareness of each other.

I feel The Boy's keyboard is an appropriate venue for the birth of harmony.

[The Alley-cat is a wonderful character...although semi-wild when we got her two days ago, we have watched in amazement as she has acquired new social skills...she eats everything she sees, and so is presently more belly than cat, but;

1. learned the kitty-litter routine immediately and flawlessly,

2. discovered that resting in a human's lap results in all manner of desirable attention, such as ear massages,

3. stopped issuing threatening growls whilst eating, drinking and using the toilet,

4. found that sleeping where humans sleep is more comfortable than under the sofa,

5. realised that her twin in the mirror is a harmless, impotent thing.

At this rate, she'll be walking around on hind legs, reciting Hamlet in English and Danish, and patenting commercial applications for Carbon Bucky Balls by year's end.]

Hell Ray: she'll be playing Mozart on your piano too!
Ray: That trick might earn her an occasional fish dinner, Chris.

Keyboard is a euphemism for roof materials

''Cats on a hot tin roof''
Ray: Very clever, Richard...you sure know your Shakespeare!

Fabulous selective coloring, Ray, and such a great read. This is fun! smile
Ray: I am delighted that you enjoyed the post, Ginnie.

Harmony is a fine word to use here Ray. Are they debating who will sing decant?
Ray: I think they are intending to perform the Chopin Piano Sonata for 4 hands, Chad, but can't decide who will sit on the right...
A great shot Ray, I'm not a cat lover but I guess you will all get great pleasure from these two.
Ray: We are cat lovers, Brian, and are delighted with the personalities of these two animals.
So only an octave or two away from each other then Ray..I like the processing very much..Great image.
Ray: Getting closer every day, Ron.
Mmm, Kitty's playing piano, I can see a youtube video in the making smile
Ray: That's an idea for a challenging project, Linda.
A couple of sharp looking individuals!
Ray: They both have friendly dispositions and seem to like the company of humans, Tom.
Our two still don't really like each other and occasionally have a punch up. Our previous two were mother and daughter and got along very well most of the time apart from the odd confirmation of the pecking order!

Love this picture Ray
Ray: Thank you, Bill.

Based on progress I predict these two will enjoy will each enjoy the company of the other.
This is a brilliant picture Ray
worthy of commercial useage, its just so alive and tells such a story
Ray: You are very kind, Martin.

I did like the story in this picture.
Great capture and well done with the selective colouring!
Ray: Thanks, Richard. The whole image had a golden glow from un-natural light, and it hid the black/silver/white colours of the cats and the keyboard...that made me twiddle.
