Schoolrun #3 - Kodachrome Dinosaurs

We drive through several small villages on the Schoolrun.

Each village offers up challenges to the driver...dogs sleeping on the road...toddlers playing on the road...monks walking barefoot on the road in pursuit of alms...chickens doing stuff on or beside the road...

it is just like a video game and as you cross levels, the obstacles they just keep coming and getting varied smile
Ray: Sort of "Doom" scenario, Ayush?
chickens are best off not being on the road...
Ray: I darn near had an accident when I caught sight of this lot, Larry!
Dressed to go to the carnival Ray...
Ray: It looks that way, Richard.

Odd looking birds Ray, I wonder what variety they might be?
Ray: Party Birds, I should think, Chris.

Does their feed affect the colour, Ray?
Ray: I doubt it, Lisl.

My guess is someone painted them as some kind of a prank or jape.

Amazing! These can't be naturally coloured, surely? They look like party animlas.
Ray: Dressed to party, eh!

I never saw such colourful chickens - your drive is a real adventure - but no sheep on the road like in England or Ireland?
Ray: No sheep encountered, yet, Philine.
These colours cannot be natural Ray...surely!
Ray: And...why not?

Where is it written, thus, Lad!
As Philine remarks these daily journeys of yours are probably never the same two times running, surely these really must have come as a surprise.
Ray: Nearly made me drive off the road, Brian.

I stopped, got out, and took a few shots, which calmed me somewhat.
Have these chicks been dyed? I have never seen neon coloured chickens.
Ray: Prototypes for decorations on next year's Easter Eggs, Mary.
Good grief, what are they feeding them?
Ray: I think they mainly catch their own food, Bill...grubs, beetles, worms...stuff like that!
I've never seen chickens with multi-coloured heads before, Ray!?
Ray: It is time you came to revisit, Thailand, then Tom!

Are the chickens really that colour?
Ray: Aye...the chicks be colourful, just like me snap, Richard.
