Very serious about it, I see...
Ray: They often end up with a mouthfull of each other's ear, Larry...but, no blood spilled, and hardly any angry words.
Qu'ils sont beaux, j'adore les chiens.
Ray: Moi aussi, Martine...merci.

Very amusing isn't it
Ray: Yes...they are great fun, and I sometimes join in on their games, Chris.

THE ONE ON THE LEFT LOOKS IN CONTROL BUT I BET THE OTHER WINS ...oops caps sorry
Ray: Phou is bigger and heavier, but Toby is strong and determined...its a pretty even match....

I hope this is not a worm they are fighting over wink...
as long as they play smile
Ray: Not a worm, Astrid...but, anything will do!

They are both very good humoured dogs.

I always enjoy seeing happy dogs like this, Ray
Ray: Yes...dogs can be great fun, as I have discovered lately.

I believe I still prefer cats, though.
You mentioned puppies. Who has had pups?
Ray: Two Decembers ago, Spot had a litter of 5...we kept one of those Puppies, and named her Sox...This December just passed, Sox had a litter of 9 [a rather expensive caesarian op]...they are about 3 weeks old now...Sox has begun to ween them already...Spot looks after them as much as Sox.

2 of the 9 are spoken for, but we are hoping to find homes for the rest of them, or our houseyard will be full of boisterous mutts.
They are having a great time. Who won?
Ray: As I recall, Bill, at a strategic moment Phou got a little off balance and so Toby dropped the "rope", pounced and grabbed him by the throat.
Two happy dogs, Ray, nice to see.
Ray: These two play/fight for about 2 hours each day, Frank...mostly on the grass but occasionally in a veggie patch.

Toby looks to be dug in and will not be moved.
Ray: Toby's gammy left hind leg gives him a slight disadvantage, Alan, but his front end is awesome!
