Another cheesy hand-held moon shot
For those who enjoyed my last fabulous moon picture, here is another attempt.

Shot at night, in a clear sky following a very hot day in up-country Thailand...hand-held, with my biggest lens [had to return the borrowed monster from my previous shoot], and a 1.4 tele-converter.

It was a beautiful crescent moon, and seemed  unusually luminous on this occasion.

Afterwards, it was great fun to show this image, on the camera's little LCD,  to Na's Dad and step-Mum, and to see their wide-eyed wonderment...the heavily cratered surface was a novelty to them, and I was called upon to explain the source...naturally I went with the theory of the moon having suffered terribly from adolescent acne....
