Ever the optimists, a few weeks back, we bought a handful of bulbs at a weekend market. Returning home we placed them all in a large plant pot on our sunny balcony.
Now there are 21 large flowers, standing proud on 50cm stems...a better outcome than the same deal last year, which gave many leaves but no blooms!
