Australia #16

This handsome bird is Gus Goose, a human-shy, feral Gander that flies laps up and down the river...he is looking for mates but not evidently having sucsess. He is a very stricking bird, and flies strongly. He complied immediately when the Black Swans asked him to vacate their section of the river.

J'aime le mouvement des pattes.
He is handsome, indeed!
Ray: An awsome sight when he flies past, just a metre off the surface of the water.

He knows his place then. I have known quite an altercation between a male swan and a gander, when the gander won and took over the swan family!
Ray: Gus seems to be a sensitive soul.

Sensible Gus. I mean, arguing with a couple of territorial black swans might not be a healthy thing to do..
Ray: Yes...my feeling is that the swan couple would be forminable, Chris.
Très beau ...ta photo est très belle

Aaaah... that's a shame he does not have a mate. I can just imagine that he prefers to move away from the black swans rather than cause a dispute.
Ray: Teritorial swans can be formidiple, Alan.

What a perfect looking specimen Ray.
Ray: He is very clean and fit, Chad.
Probably won't have much breeding success!
Ray: Ben and Naomi are talking of purchasing a Gal Goose to assist the situation, Tom.
Surely there is a dating app for lonely Ganders !
Ray: I have not seen Gus Goose operating a smartphone, Martin.
Nice reflections Ray.
Ray: I was quite pleased with this image, Frank.
Let's hope he'll catch the eye of some mate soon, Ray. He is a handsome bird, as you say.
Ray: I wish Gus well, Beverly, but dought there are potential mates along this stretch of river. Ben and Naomi have talked of purchasing one.
Handsome looking fellow isn't he.
Ray: He is certainly that, Brian.
A fine looking bird Ray
Ray: Gus seems to be inn fine condition, Bill.
I love how you captured his paddling action.
Ray: Gus is a powerhouse on the water, Mary.
