Bottles

The Bottle Temple...all the buildings are made of concrete and faced with empty bottles. It is a quite famouse temple, but I have to say I was underwhelmed...perhaps my mood was dampenned by the insessant rain.

It looks interesting Ray,maybe it was the rain that dampened your enthusiasm...
Ray: I think that was the problem, Frank. I like rain, but when it does not letup for two days my enthusiasm sags somewhat.

This is a new concept for me Ray. Quite a unique structure I would have thought
Ray: The basic structure is not so unusual, Chris, but the cladding off all inside and outside surfaces with empty glass bottles is certainly not common.

Extraordinary.....for me at least.
Ray: I think it is the only temple, in Thailand, decorated this way, Richard.
An unusual form of recycling Ray
Ray: This is true, Bill.

It has a slightly megrainey effect on the eyes Ray.
Ray: OK...I do not know that effect, Chad...is there a button or an Ap for that?
How unusual, but a good idea, better than dumping the bottles in a tip.
Ray: All grass bottles can be sold in Thailand, Brian, as recycling is bid business here. Thailand does not have Tips.

Were the bottles from you and your chums previous drinking sessions?
Ray: Oh...how the beer flowed...
i am sure your accompanying dogs were sufficient to cheer you up with their antics, Ray.
Ray: Ha Ha

Non of the dogs traveled with us, Ayush...they we just guest participants in the walk around our village.
We have a bottle village nearby as a tourist attraction. It was made as a labour of love by a retired school bus driver. One hundred percent of the money donated by tourists goes to a children's hospital.
Ray: All power to that retired driver, Mary.
