Joli décor pour passer une agréable soirée.
Ray: Oui ... c'est un favori de Na et de moi depuis de nombreuses années, Martine.
It all looks very nice Ray.
Ray: It was excellent, Frank, and a rare treat. Also, the Senior Waiter welcomed us like old best friends even though he had not seen us in several years...I liked that.

Looks to be nice setting. Ot's good to go out for meal with friends. Please tell Tim that phones are not allowed at the table, though smile
Ray: Ha Ha.

Tim and I are of mature age and so do not fell inclined to listen to all this nonsense about Cell Phone Protocol, Alan. smile
Une belle ambiance surement dans ce lieu !
Ray: Oui ... un bon endroit pour un bon repas avec de bons amis, Claudine.
Looks like a nice relaxed occasion Ray
Ray: All most pleasant, Bill.

Quite a Western looking restaurant Ray.
Ray: Thank you for stimulating my chuckle-muscle, Chadwice.

I understand you might have expected a flat rock under a Coconut Palm, and the waiter wearing nothing but a grass skirt...
I really like the lower shot, you all look so comfortable in each others company.
Ray: I like that shot, too, Brian.

Usually when the 4 of us usually a table it is at our house, and Na is the cook, as Tim and Aay stay with us about 3 times a year as a greak in their long trip to Aay's home village.
Looks as if you enjoyed a delicious meal with your good friends, Ray. I can see why this would be a favourite restaurant of yours.
Ray: Na and I rarely visit Bangkok, so when the 4 of us meet it is usually when Tim and Aay stay a night at our house on the way to the house they have built [and will eventually move to] in Aay's home village...this happens perhaps 3 times each year.
It is certainly lovely not to have to cook and clean up afterward. I am up for a night out with friends.
Ray: In Thailand, Mary, food is like a second religion, so this was a bit like a visit to a highly regarded Altar for Na and Aay.

I bet the food was good alongside the company
Ray: All together a very pleasant night out, Richard.

When Tim and I eat out, alone, it is usually something like a favorite food cart on a footpath, so this was a git special.
You had plenty to go at, were you finished at this point or just having a breather ?
Ray: The absence of food spills around my plate suggest this was early in the eating faze of the evening, Martin. smile
Looks good!
Ray: It is that, Tom, and the unusual fusion of Thai and Viet cuisine is a winner for us.
Great photos of you all! I love the painting!
