photoblog image Fruit Tree blossom

Fruit Tree blossom

We have more than 100 fruit trees in our house yard, and some are in blossom at the moment. Most of the fruit is spoiled by bugs [as we do not spray chemicles] or taken by birds [as we do not net], but we do get some.

The top image is of a guava blossom, and the lower one is a  mango.

What a wonderful and delicate things is that guava. It is so pleasing you share your bounty with nature, very impressive IMHO
Ray: I think the sharing comes from Na's interpretation of the fundamentals of Buddhism, Chris...she is way ahead of me on some of this stuff.

Hopefully there is enough for all. Best not to spray of you can avoid it.
Ray: We think this way, Alan, and hope we will get some share of the crops.
Perhaps you could net the odd one and put a sign up saying please leave this one for us.
Ray: I have considered this approach, Bill, and think it has merit.
Wouah ...superbe !!!
Ray: Je le pense aussi, Claudine.
both are beautiful blooms, Ray. i agree with your reasoning to not net or spray the plants.
Ray: The birds pay their way with their lovely songs and quirky behavior, Ayush.
I have never seen a guava flower. How beautiful - like white fireworks.
Ray: Oh...love this description, Care.
That Guava flower is really nice.
Ray: Yes...beautiful blooms, Brian.
