Cycling Portfolio £1

Here is the start of an occasional series of images snapped on smartphone while out cycling.

The shack is in the mainstreet of our Village, and it is our Icecream Factory. The icecream from here is very tasty, and is made from fresh coconuts rather than cows' milk. Although I doubt the factory is Health Department approved, so far as I am aware there have been zero complaints regarding the product.

The product is sold from motorcycle-based mobile vendors, and this factory has several vehicles servicing many small villages in the vicinity.

Avec la noix de coco ce doit être très bon.
Ray: Oh oui ... c'est délicieux, Martine.

Interesting narrative! Very nice color pops...I like the arrangement here.
Ray: This place is certainly an asset in the Village, Bonnie.
It's always good to have a local ice cream shop!
Ray: I rarely eat icecream these days, Elizabeth, but do enjoy an icecream sandwich from this maker.
that is indeed a novel replacement and i would not hesitate to sample some, Ray.
Ray: I am confident you would enjoy the experience, Ayush.
Well, then. Let the record speak for itself! BTW, the ice cream made on the diary farms here in the Netherlands (which obviously IS "approved") is considered the best you can get here.
Ray: I can imagine this, Ginnie. There are almost zero dairy farms in Thailand.

Sounds delicious Ray. As a non consumer of cows milk I would find it very interesting to taste
Ray: I have to say that I like the product very much, Chris.

I expect that the reason that no complaints have been made is because the pool have not lived long enough after eating the ice cream. smile
Ray: Ha Ha.
Food [and eating it] is a second religion in Thailand, Alan...if the product was not excellent then the factory would be closed in days as word would immediately get around.
I would be prepared to risk it Ray grin
Ray: I was initially a bit doubtful, Bill...but I lick sorted me out! smile

Perhaps as it is plant-based, there is less likelihood of it going off quickly. I would love to try it
Ray: Yes...I am sure you are correct, Lisl. I think you would enjoy the experience.

It sounds like a pretty large business Ray. I am sure that the ice cream, made from coconuts, is delicious.
Ray: That little shack is the whole factory, and it is run by one person, Chad. You can see about 8 of 2 gallon containers, so that is his maximum daily output.

Although the building and floors are not looking inspiring, I am sure they look well after their storing and mixing containers. I am pretty sure that coconut juice/milk is a lot more resistant to going "off" than cows milk.
Ray: Yes...I think you have summed it up well, Louis. I can confirm that the product is excellent. I like to eat it the traditional way, which is...
* a bun, sliced and
* one scoop of sweet rice
* five small scoops of icecream
* a sprinkling of roasted peanuts
* a squirt of chocolate-flavored topping.
Delicious!

thats my kind of factory
Ray: State Of The Art! smile
I'd be prepared to give it a try.
Ray: Then you might find it difficult to return to the dairy-based alternative, Brian. smile

That looks wonderful and I love dairy free ice cream. I would give it a try!
Ray: I think you would enjoy this product, Beth.
it looks to be a high tech icecream factory Ray... great shot and description of the way that they distribute their products....petersmile
Ray: His containers are all stainless steel, peter, but I think he churns my hand and uses a slurry of crushed ice and salt for the cooling.
Tastier than most fancy brands!
