Cycling Portfolio #06

A motorcycle bridge over a river, just a few kilometres from our house. The river is just water-holes at the moment, as it has not rained for about 6 months.

Nice morning setting!
Ray: I am finding many interesting things not so far from our house, KK. We could do5 days od day trips with our house as a base.

Looks to be good place to take breather. You've got the opposite problem; we've not had a dry day for six months (well.. slight exaggeration but we've had two consecutive weekends with no cycling because of high winds and heavy rain).
Ray: We are getting some winds now, Alan, but there is no hint of rain.

First I thought: a picture by Alan - but you are the fit biker, too.
Ray: Now that I have my brain working fairly well again, Philine, I am back into cycling and am regaining my fitness quite well. I have consciosly slowed my pace, and am stopping often to take a picture of what I see [for this series].

I am so glad that you are so well again!
Ray: Thank you, Philine.

Reading, and short-term memory, are still challenges but I am mostly functional again.

A nice useful bridge. Our rivers here are the opposite of yours, raging torrents..
Ray: We could use a little of your rain, Chris.
You are only allowed to fall off one side
Ray: There are rules...
I wonder why it hasn't got a barrier on both sides.
Ray: That would reduce the rists a lot, Brian, and where is the fun, then! smile
I think I prefer winter and four seasons when I think of a rainy season. What a planet!
Ray: Yes...Our Planet gives Us a wonderful variety of climates, Care. I think we become accustomed to the one we have, and so cannot easily imagine living in another...I think that I would have a problem living in an ice-box for half of each year, but, in reality, could accustomise.
is that your bicycle on the bridge Ray... you still have enough water in the river to give you nice reflections of the trees...petersmile
Ray: It is my bike, Peter. This is a quite big water hole.
Fine shots of the bike, too, Ray smile
Ray: This bike is getting plenty of exposure in this series, Tom.
