Man! Look at all that "information" in those drops, Ray! It's like a miracle!!
Ray: Raindrops fascinate me, Ginnie. They work rather like a fisheye lens, and pull lots of information into the picture. I am pleased you like it.
Fantastic shot. The DOF is perfect allowing the drops to be the center of attention.
Ray: Thanks, Mary. I just need to work a bit more on focus.

You don't need me to tell you about the DOF, composition, clarity, and lighting as you know far more about that than I do. But what I can tell you is that when I look at each of those tears, what I see is the world reflected. Your photograph has moved me from looking at a stunning image of a blade of grass with water drops, to thinking about how the tears of many people are reflections of an environment in which they are firmly rooted.
Ray: Such a deep, emotional comment, Kathryn. One of the great pleasures of posting images to a photoblog is in seeing the wide range of reactions the images invoke. Comments like this one from you, compel me to go back to the image and try to view it with the fresh filter you have provided. Thank you.
Just wonderful Ray. The details in the drops are amazing. Well done
Ray: So pleased you like it, Richard.
What a truly excellent capture. I love this post because, for me, it reinforces the power of threes! Nice macro, Ray. Love it!
Ray: A very encouraging comment, thank you Abisola.

SUPERB!!!! It's like a little microworld is living in those beautifil raindrops.
Ray: Thanks, Scarlet. I really like the fisheye lens effect of drops, but find it hard to photograph.
Oh I love this macro! I have been trying to get more waterdrop shots, but haven't had the luck of the sun being out, so the reflections aren't as nice. This is terrific.
Ray: Thanks, Sylvia. there is usually plenty of sunshine available in Thailand.

I don't think there are any original comments left, but I do think this is quite magical to see. It's amazing how big the drops of water seem to be.
Ray: Hi Ellie. There were lots of little drops, but just these three big ones which are probably benefitting from the nearly horizontal grass stalk. I got a very wet front laying down in th grass to take this pic.
