photoblog image The Hopper that flew

The Hopper that flew

Grasshopper on a dried banana leaf, where it landed clumsily after being disturbed by me as I wandered [also clumsily] through the potato patch seeking photo-opportunities involving bugs.

Back to BUGS! I knew it would happen!!

The color tones are so coordinated, Ray, in this nature scene. It's like a glamorous fashion statement. I LOVE it.

Holy smoly, I have never seen an image of a grasshopper in such detail! The eyes are just wow.
Ray: It certainly does have "wow" kind of eyes, Kathryn. Thanks for your comment.
