This looks great and it tells a story. Excellent work, Ray!
Ray: Thanks, Martin, for your generous remark.
Funny fellow! Nice shot, Ray. I swept up a lady bug today. A few overwinter inside when they can.
Ray: Ladybirds are remarkable beetles, and very useful if you are a gardener. I wondered if any managed to survive winter.

This is just such a cute shot when combined with your title.
Ray: Thanks, Kathryn. It is a pretty crumby image without the distracting title [grin]

The DOF is just super-perfect, Ray, once again! And the title says it all.
Ray: Glad you like it, Ginnie.

Well spotted Ray, great DOF.
Little and large LOL
Ray: Thanks, Tracy. I would have prefered the Ladybird in better focus, but then the orange bug would have been less noticable.

Ray: Yep...me too.
Very well illustrated title Ray. Well done
Ray: Thank you, Richard.

You'd think these brightly coloured bugs would be eaten, but there has to be something about them that lets them be seen and keep safe.

Lovely point of view here Ray, almost a double/duplicate image till you (I) spot the antennae
Ray: Hi Ellie. According to a child's book we have on the Ladybird, it tastes so bad no bird would even try to eat it.
Lol smile Very clever composition and a little story in it !!
Ray: I think the story helps to mask the poor focus. [grin]
