After the rain

Everything is wet, clean and fresh-looking after the rain has visited...a frequent occurrence up-country in this season.

Ah, tis verily a photograph of much beatidity, Mr Storey.

Fabulous detail in those tiny hairs and beading water droplets, and such a sumptuous shade of green to soothe my morning eyes.

Wondeful. Have a great weekend, me, I'm off to work now! smile
Ray: Thanks, paul.
Don't work too hard.
Superb capture Ray. Droplets and hair details are amazing!
Ray: Thanks, Ricahrd.
It was all I could salvage from an image that didn't quite live up to expectations.
I'm uncertain if anything is in perfect focus ... and because perhaps that is the case it has made me look even closer at it .. This is a really tight crop. richard
Ray: Hi Richard.
I think the big bead at the bottom of the image was in focus, but has become a bit mushy as a consequence of my ham-fisted processing.
I am not sure what "tight crop" means....if it means I threw away quite a lot of the original image, then you are correct. I often salvage bits I like from images that didn't turn out quite as I hoped, and sometimes I like the fragment well enough to publish.
Nice and vibrant and sharp
Ray: Thanks, Nigeel.
I liked the colour and the freshness of this image.

You are so right...rain has so many nice things..does so many nice things, I know when I ride my bike and I am soaking wet, I might think different......
This is a superb picture, the colours...the on, thanks Ray...
Ray: Thanks, Astrid.
Actually...I feel like I still have a lot to learn about taking shots like this...they look easy but rarely turn out well.
Beautiful, Ray, a calm soothing feel to it.
Ray: So pleased you think so, Jennie.
A frequent occurrence every bloody season in this country1
Ray: Callous of me to bung it on your monitor as well, Bill.
beautiful color and detail Ray!
Ray: Thanks for your comment, Dawn.
I cropped the original rather heavily, and my ham-fisted processing left a few undesirable artifacts behind, but I like the image anyway.

Been raining here all day today, sadly it didn't look anything like this. Superb capture Ray, as usual
Ray: Thanks, Ellie.
I guess there is quite a difference between your rain and my Thailand, it is raining every day, but just buckets down warm water for 20minutes, then clears away and leaves a clean, hot day.
mon dieu qu'elle est belle !
une oeuvre d'art... merci et bravo
Ray: Merci ... vous ĂȘtes trop aimable!

[Thank are too kind!]
Very nice (but I'm allways repeating the same...) Maybe you could - time to time - put a very bad shot hmmmm ?
Ray: It just happens that I have plenty of those in my rubbish folder...
