the color in the background against the red is great--I love the delicate feathering in the foliage.
Ray: Just a tiny flower head of a common weed, Dawn. I am enjoying the adventure of getting close to these gems.
A different lens, but you seem to have achived a similar effect to your macro.
Ray: Yes...70-200mm F4 L ism...quite good as a macro lens, especially if I leave the tripod at home.
Utterly delightful! I love the delicate detail of those hairs. (:o)
Ray: Just a tiny, common weed, Rosalyn...
Another wonderful one Ray. I like the colours blend here!
Ray: A pretty weed, for sure, Richard.
Detail of the feathering green stands out. Wonderful overall image.
Ray: Just a tiny flower head on a common garden weed, jennie.

This is utterly beautiful, Ray.

Like tiny hairs on a bee's leg, details I'd probably never before thought about or considered on a flower. A stunning photograph smile
Ray: Thanks, Paul. Its a tiny flower head on a common weed, but I was particularly struck by how it seemed like a prepared corsage, with a mix of flowers and maiden-hair fern.
Very much my sort of flower picture. Love it Ray
Ray: So pleased you like this one, Bill. I enjoyed shooting it.

like it... the tips of the petals seem to have a glow about them...
Ray: Thanks, Photosam. The whole thing was very small, and in the shade...I was delighted with how it turned out.

This is so beautiful Ray, breathtaking.
Ray: Thanks, Ellie.
I am so often amazed at the beauty of the flowers on common weeds. This flower head was tiny.

Ray, your shot is an ode to the infinite beauty of the infinitesimal.
Ray: Thanks, Terry.
Shots like this, of the tiny flower heads of common weeds, seem so often to reveal an exquisite beauty.
Sweet dream for our north beginning of winter....
Ray: Starting anytime soon, I am expected a rush of beautiful white panoramas from folks who live in the northern hemisphere and outside the tropics.
