Absolutely stunning detail, as always Mr Storey.

The delicate pattern such a joy on my early morning eyes smile
Ray: I am glad you feel that way about this image, Paul.
I am often drawn to grass as a subject for close-up shots...and rarely disappointed by the beauty to be found there
This is a lovely delicate picture. Nice way to start Sunday when it is cold, wet, grey and a bit snowy...and yes I know it is 33 degrees there!!!
Ray: [grin] I guess I don't need to tell you about the rigours of winter in Bangkok, then, Bill. Thanks for your kind comment.
Razor sharp!
Ray: Thanks, Nigel. Focus was a bit of a challenge as it was bobbing about in the light breeze.
I'm not going to say that that insect makes the shot ... because I'm not.... Oh Damn.

Actually with or without it it's a delightfully delicate photo Ray.
Ray: I didn't know the insect was there when I took the shot, Richard...honest!
What a delicacy. This is gorgeous Ray!
Ray: It is another very pretty grass, Richard.

Grasses are wonderful things to photograph, it's amazing how many colours are there in the seed head when you get close enough
Ray: I agree, Ellie. Grasses are one of my favourite subjects, and I am frequently surprised by the beauty revealed when I get up really close.
Wonderful detail, Ray.
Ray: Thanks, Jennie. It came out surprisingly well considering how much it was moving about in the light breeze. And, the rice crop was turned into a lovely backdrop, with no distractions.

Well framed with great color and detail. Good stuff, Ray!
Ray: Thanks, Martin. Material could not be much more simple, but the result seems easy on the eye.

Ray: So true, Mats.
I am spending quite a lot of time with my lens in the grass these days.
Details and colors are stunning!

You are the king of close-up Ray.
Ray: You are too kind, Remi! I still have much to learn about all manner of Photography, and am grateful for all I learn from studying the work of people like you.

Ray: Thanks, Zebigleb. Colours pretty much as taken.
