Excellent capture!
Ray: Thank you, Sue.
We were travelling slowly in heavy traffic, so I made this shot while actually diving.
It is pretty cool!
Ray: Interesting light at that time of day, Elizabeth.

Oh yes, Ray. I totally agree. They're like cranes: might as well accept them as art in today's landscape!
Ray: Ha Ha

Railing against them is futile,,,

You got the sun at the right angle there mate: it would even make Bill Phillips look beautiful

Perhaps not...
Ray: Another exploded impression in my world...I was happily going through life in the belief that Bill Phillips was beautiful already, Chris.

I see what you mean Ray. Is that pollution or mist?
Ray: I am sure there is some air pollution from the heavy traffic, Chad, but the main influence here is looking into dusk light.
Wonderful capture, Ray. We can find beauty in the strangest places.
Ray: Photography has given me a heightened sensitivity to this phenomenon, Mary.
Yellow smog ... or is that mustard gas still circumnavigating the world from WW1 battlefields
Ray: I feel it likely the WW1 mustard has all been spread on corned beef by now, Richard...must be low-angle light source ahead of me...
Strange evening light but great recession through to the back of the image Ray.
Ray: I have experienced this effect in this exact place 3 or 4 times now, Brian...this is the first time I have chanced shooting an image here while driving.
What a truly amazing lighting situation, makes a super image.
Ray: I love what Nature does with light, Martin. On this occasion I was travelling with the Canon on my knee, the traffic was heavy and moving slowly...the opportunity was too great to ignore...
Is this sunset or smog Ray? Good picture whatever
Ray: Mostly sunset, Bill, but there is probably a little car fumes assist.
Everything here is attractive, great image!
Ray: It is a rather breathtaking phenomenon to drive through, Sesan.
Woderful, if strange, light, But oh dear, all those cars! As for the lines of the wires and the lamp posts - yes they do have their own artistry.
Ray: Country roads become very congested on long weekends, Sheila, as there is a mass exit from Bangkok to the ancestral villages by several million city workers.

I'm lovin' the mountain's golden highlights!
Ray: It was a very impressive sight, jennie.
