A great close- up! This Ladybird beetle looks a bit aggressive and greedy.
Ray: Ladybirds are voracious eaters, Philine...the tiny, common Ladybird eats up to 60 aphids each day, which is why she is so welcomed in rose gardens.
This is the first hairy beetle I have seen. THAT, is super macro!
Ray: There are a few hairy beetles in Thailand, Mary...I don't know what good it does for the beetle but I am sure it makes them better sex workers.
