The Grass is Flowering

Flowering grasses can be the most elegant, delicate sight. You've captured this one in all her glory!
Ray: I tend to drool over flowering grasses, Elizabeth. In this case I had the 100mm Canon macro lens on the little Canon eos M and was teaching myself a technique for shooting close-ups with it. These white flowers are not visible to the un-assisted eye.
This is a gobsmacked Ray!
Ray: I am delighted that you like it, Bill.

And it is flowering in a very photogenic way too. Isn't the cycle of reproduction & renewal endlessly fascinating
Ray: Reproduction matters are, indeed, endlessly fascinating, Chris.

I have been enjoying all the flowering grasses too. I need more time in my day.
Ray: Grass is special stuff...
That is very nice Ray, so delicate.
Ray: These flowers are miniscule, Brian.
Superbly captured and presented, Ray. Your technique for shooting close-ups has worked brilliantly here.
Ray: I am beginning to get quite relaxed about the capability of this little camera, Beverly.

Very arty it is, too. The colours are very vivid.
Ray: Flowering grass is lovely stuff, Alan.
So beautiful and delicate Ray!
Ray: It is that, Richard.
Lovely image, Ray. I have a converter that enables me to fit the 100mm Canon lens to the X-E1 and that works pretty well, except that you have to set the aperture on the 7D before putting the lens on the Fuji. Someone must be bringing out a real converter some time smile
Ray: I imagine that lens would make the X-E1 into a serious camera, Tom...
